هضبة بينانج - القطار الجبلي Penang Hill
 

هضبة بينانق في ماليزيا مرتفعة جدا ، جوها بارد نسبيا ، يمكن الصعود لها عن طريق القطار الجبلى ، وكانت حكرا فى الماضى على الطبقة الغنية لبريطانيين .. وتستطيع أن ترى معظم معالم جزيرة بينانق من على هذه الهضبة ، الرحلة من الأسفل إلى الأعلى تستغرق نصف ساعة تقريباً ، و يوجد في الهضبة سكة حديد ياخذك الى الاعلى يغادر القطار المحطة بداية من الساعة السادسة و النصف و ينتهي التاسعة و النصف ويتحرك كل نصف ساعة قطار. القطار لن ياخذك مباشرة الى أعلى ، عليك ان تغير القطارات في منتصف الطريق. وفي هذه الاثناء عليك اجتياز العديد من المحطة الصغيرة ، حيث ان الاهالي النزول. وهناك ايضا بعض الفنادق الصغيرة على هذا الامتداد. و قد شيد هذا القطار في عام 1923 . في أعلى التل ، ستجد كشك الشاي ، والمطاعم ، وأكشاك التذكاريه، أفضل وقت لزيارة بينانج هيل هو الصباح الباكر ، حوالى تسعة صباحا قبل و صول الزوار و قبل الزحمة .
